Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU), Florida’s third-largest credit union, is proud to announce its expansion to the Orlando market with the upcoming openings of two full-service, new branches in Waterford Lakes and Avalon Park. SCCU will create approximately 10 new jobs in the Orlando area, strengthening its presence and investing in the local economy. The expansion will also support SCCU’s existing and growing base of more than 19,000 members in Orlando, enhancing access to convenient in-person banking experiences.

The first of the two locations, situated in Waterford Lakes (12301 Lake Underhill Road Orlando, FL 32828), is scheduled to open its doors in fall 2025. A Grand Opening celebration will follow later in the year, inviting local residents, members and community partners to experience the SCCU difference firsthand. The second location in Avalon Park (425 S. Avalon Park Blvd Orlando, FL 32828) is also set to open before the end of the year. This milestone marks a significant step in SCCU’s commitment to delivering trusted financial guidance, personalized solutions and exceptional service to the growing Central Florida community.
This is the start of a continued effort by SCCU to expand in Orlando with more branches planned in the future, signaling strong confidence in the Central Florida market.
