DuPage Credit Union would like to thank everyone who generously donated to its June 13 Drive, Drop, & Donate event. During the 12th annual shred and electronic recycling event, the Credit Union raised $1,822. These funds will be used to buy backpacks with essential school supplies for local students in need.

In addition to raising funds for school supplies, the event also made a positive environmental impact by collecting 7,500 pounds of paper for shredding and 3,440 pounds of electronics for recycling.

“Thanks to everyone who donated and to Citadel Information Management for their shredding and electronics recycling services,” said Amy Brandt, Chief Experience Officer.

Since 2014, the Credit Union has provided over $125,400 in backpacks and supply kits to DuPage County students in need.
