BMI Federal Credit Union hosted their annual Scholarship Golf Open benefitting the Central Ohio Chapter of Folds of Honor at The Lakes Golf and Country Club on June 9, 2025. This year, the Scholarship Golf Open raised over $41,000 to go toward Folds of Honor’s mission to provide educational funds to the spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members and first responders.
This event gave golfers the opportunity to help raise funds for Folds of Honor while playing a round on The Lake’s prestigious course. Their round was followed by a dinner that featured a current scholarship recipient as the guest speaker. During the dinner, golfers also participated in a raffle for the chance to win awesome prizes.
Every dollar contributed to the event including raffle ticket sales, sponsorships, and registration fees went towards supporting the Folds of Honor mission in areas that BMI FCU serves. In total, the BMI Federal Credit Union Scholarship Golf Open has raised $403,451 in scholarship funds since its inception in 2015.
