First Financial Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the promotion of Julie Brandt-Olivier to Director of Lending. Julie brings over a decade of experience in lending expertise and leadership to the role and has been a valued member of the First Financial team since 2014.
Julie began her journey at First Financial as a Financial Service Consultant at the Toms River Branch. Just eight months later, she transitioned into the Lending Department as an Assistant Processor and Junior Underwriter. Her exceptional work ethic, leadership skills, and deep understanding of lending operations led to a series of promotions, from Supervisor to Manager, and now to Director.
As Director of Lending, Julie remains hands-on in many aspects of First Financial’s loan operations. She will continue to underwrite consumer and real estate loans, manage mortgage and escrow functions, and work closely with frontline staff to support day-to-day operations while maintaining workflow efficiency. Her approach is a balance of strategic oversight and direct member service, keeping her closely connected to the members and team she serves.
“I’m passionate about helping members who may not fit the traditional lending mold, and I work hard to find solutions that empower them to achieve their goals,” said Julie. “As a credit union, our members are also our owners. That means every decision we make is about putting their best interest first.”
