CCCU welcomes new business development and financial education specialist

Clark County Credit Union (CCCU) is proud to announce the  appointment of Creson Oakley as its first ever Business Development and Financial Education Specialist.

Oakley has been a part of the CCCU team since 1992, beginning her career as a teller and advancing through a  variety of roles including loan officer, loan underwriter, consumer lending manager and branch manager. As a  Certified Financial Counselor with more than 30 years of credit union experience, she brings a wealth of  knowledge and a passion for helping members achieve their financial goals and dreams to this role.

Oakley will focus on building and strengthening relationships with the credit union’s select employee groups  (SEGs), nonprofit partners, schools, local government and business organizations. She will deliver financial  education

presentations and courses designed to meet the needs of both youth and adults. By being actively engaged in the community, Oakley helps CCCU provides financial guidance and professional financial support to  those who need it most in our local community.

“Creson’s depth of financial experience and dedication to our community and founding members make her a  natural fit for this role,” said Shannon Hiller, Chief Marketing Officer at CCCU. “She can draw on years of  experience helping our members in a one-on-one setting to help individuals feel supported and empowered to  make informed financial decisions. I have seen first-hand the light that comes into someone’s eyes when they  learn a new financial concept that will change their life.”
