Members 1st Federal Credit Union expands role to lead innovation that puts people first

Enola, PA (September 25, 2025) |

Members 1st Federal Credit Union has expanded the role of Robert Muth,  Senior Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations, to include Artificial Intelligence  Officer. This new responsibility reflects the credit union’s commitment to leveraging  technology in ways that strengthen the personal relationships that set Members 1st  apart.

“Our goal is to make sure our associates are able to invest their time in people,” said  Muth. “By using artificial intelligence to streamline systems and routine processes, we  free our teams to focus on building relationships, solving problems and delivering the  personal attention our members count on. Innovation, for us, isn’t about reducing  human connection, it is about making it stronger.”

Members 1st is among only 15 credit unions nationwide that developed and operates its  own mobile app, demonstrating a long-standing dedication to investing in in-house  technology platforms. The credit union has already piloted AI solutions such as  intelligent chat support and document automation, laying the groundwork for more  personalized and proactive service; always with human interaction at the core.

“Robb built our AI Center of Excellence and has enhanced the way we vet and  collaborate with technology partners; just two examples of his forward-thinking ability to  make complex initiatives possible. He is an outstanding representative of our values,  and there is truly no more perfect fit to lead us into this next chapter of responsible  innovation,” said Michael Wilson, President & CEO.

Looking ahead, Members 1st plans to leverage AI to provide associates with smarter  tools, predictive insights and streamlined processes, ensuring they have more time to  focus on what matters most: the members they serve.
