Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has named Brent Carlow as assistant vice president and branch manager for its new Owasso branch. In this role, Carlow will oversee branch operations, guide member service initiatives and connect with the community in the newly-opened branch.
Carlow comes to TFCU from a well-respected bank in Broken Arrow and began his career in financial services in 2005 as a float teller. He has since held positions in loan operations, new accounts, mortgage and commercial lending, credit department management and risk and compliance. His experience spans both banks and credit unions, giving him a broad understanding of member services, lending and best practices for managing branch operations.
“Working in many areas of a financial institution has given me the opportunity to see the full picture of how we can best serve our members,” Carlow said. “I’m excited to build strong relationships in Owasso and create a branch environment where our team can grow and succeed.”
Ashley Avanessian, vice president and regional director of branch operations for eastern Oklahoma, said Carlow’s extensive background across lending, retail and compliance gives him a strong foundation to lead the Owasso branch.
