TULSA, OK (October 14, 2025) |
Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has named Ashley Avanessian as vice president and regional director of branch operations. In this role, she oversees branch operations and member service strategies throughout eastern Oklahoma as TFCU continues expanding its statewide presence.
Avanessian began her career in financial services in 2013 as a teller and quickly advanced through a variety of frontline and leadership roles. Before joining TFCU in 2019 as assistant vice president and the branch manager of Tulsa, she led operations and lending at a small credit union where she developed a well-rounded expertise in service delivery, process optimization and member engagement.
“I’ve had the privilege of serving at nearly every level in a credit union,” Avanessian said. “That breadth of experience helps me understand the needs of both our members and our employees. I’m honored to lead our eastern operations and to continue building on the mission of people helping people.”
At TFCU, Avanessian has helped enhance branch operations and expand services to members across her region. She is a certified credit union executive (CCUE) and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration to further advance her leadership capabilities.
Joseph Arthur, chief operations officer at TFCU, says Avanessian’s experience, leadership and vision are exactly what the credit union needs as it plans to open new branches in Owasso and surrounding areas.
“Ashley has a passion for excellence and a deep commitment to our members,” Arthur said. “She brings local insight, a strategic mindset and an unmatched drive to her work. She’s a great leader to guide our growth in eastern Oklahoma.”
A longtime Tulsa-area resident, Avanessian is committed to serving the community and developing future leaders within the credit union movement. Outside of her role, she is an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast who hopes to one day visit every U.S. national park. She also enjoys playing strategic board games and supporting her husband’s musical pursuits.
