Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) named Cindy Peña Aleman assistant vice president and branch manager for its Southwest and Southwest Remote branches. In this role, Peña Aleman oversees daily branch operations, member services and community involvement activities for both locations.
Peña Aleman got her start in the credit union industry in 2007 as a part-time employee while attending college. Since then, she has taken on a variety of roles, developing a strong foundation in member service and branch operations. She says her passion for the credit union mission of “people helping people” continues to drive her work and her commitment to making a difference in the community.
“As a lifelong Oklahoman, I understand the importance of financial education and the challenges many people face in building financial stability,” Peña Aleman said. “It’s an honor to be in a position where I can support our members on their financial empowerment journey.”
Chelle Plumley, vice president and regional director of branch operations, said Peña Aleman’s personal connection to financial wellness shapes the way she serves members.
“Cindy has a talent for building trust with both members and her team,” Plumley said. “Her passion for financial education and helping members succeed make her a great fit for this role.”
In her position, Peña Aleman works to ensure members receive excellent service, increase awareness of TFCU in the community and provide guidance to help members build financial stability.
