EECU earns prestigious Raddon Crystal Performance Award

FRESNO, CA (October 27, 2025) |

Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) has been honored with the 2024 Raddon Crystal Performance Award, marking the second consecutive year EECU has earned this honor. The award places EECU among the top-performing credit unions nationwide for exceptional growth, member engagement, and financial strength.

The award was presented at the Raddon Leadership in Credit Unions Summit in Dana Point, Calif. on Aug. 13. Each year, Raddon recognizes the top 20 credit unions nationwide based on its rigorous Performance Analytics program, which benchmarks institutions across key metrics, including service quality, member relationships, sales, and financial stability. EECU’s inclusion for the second year in a row underscores its consistent excellence across these metrics.

“This award reflects the dedication of our employees and our unwavering focus on serving members with integrity and innovation,” said Elizabeth J. Dooley, EECU president and CEO. “We’re proud to be recognized by Raddon once again for our ongoing commitment to excellence.”

EECU’s distinction is fueled by its robust suite of member-centered offerings, such as competitive savings rates, low-rate loans, and innovative financial tools designed to support the entire lifecycle of members’ financial journeys.

“The Crystal Performance Awards are a measure of individual credit union success and also give a holistic perspective of the entire industry,” said Bill Handel, Raddon general manager and chief economist. “EECU’s performance is impressive and it is an honor to recognize them among the best in the nation for the second consecutive year.”

By earning the Raddon Crystal Performance Award for the second time, EECU reaffirms its leadership not only within the credit union industry, but also within the broader community as a trusted partner. To learn more about EECU’s commitment to excellence, visit myEECU.org.
