Firstmark Credit Union to celebrate sixth annual ‘Turkeys for Teachers’

What:  Firstmark Credit Union is hosting its sixth annual Turkeys for Teachers on November 8, 2025, and will be  giving away free turkeys, goodie bags, and more, to 1,000 deserving educators in our community.

In partnership with HUB Investment Partners (HUB) and The Lonnie Walker IV Foundation, Firstmark will have live performances from local school bands, mascots from Las Palapas and KSAT-12, and more, on-site at the event.

Who: Firstmark’s Board of Directors, leadership team, and employees, as well as members from The Lonnie Walker Foundation and HUB will be there passing out turkeys to 1,000 educators who signed up for this special event. We welcome all members of the media to join us.

Where: Firstmark Credit Union’s corporate office, located at 2023 Gold Canyon Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78232.

When:  The event will start at 9 a.m. and go ‘til 12 p.m.

In 1932, ten teachers signed a charter to begin San Antonio Teachers Credit Union and served members from the original location at Fox Tech High School.
