NAPERVILLE, IL (February 12, 2013) –DuPage Credit Union Team Members recently participated in a Blood Drive at its corporate office in Naperville to benefit Heartland Blood Centers and the communities it serves.
During the blood drive Credit Union Team Members donated 12 units of blood, including a Double Red Cell donation, which can help up to 36 people in need of blood.
“The Heartland Blood Drive is an opportunity for our Team Members to give back to the communities they live and work in,” said DuPage Credit Union Human Resources Manager, Lori McGrath, “and know they have made a difference in the lives of others.”
As part of a continuing effort to benefit the communities in which it serves, the Credit Union has joined Heartland Blood Center’s Four Seasons Club, with an additional three blood drives scheduled throughout 2013. The next blood drive is scheduled for April 24th.
