Corvallis Public Schools Foundation and Benton County Schools Credit Union launch staff resource grants for educators in transition

Corvallis, OR (May 18, 2026) |

The Corvallis Public Schools Foundation (CPSF), in partnership with Benton County Schools Credit Union (BCSCU), has launched a new funding initiative aimed at supporting educators moving into new roles: Staff Resource Grants.

Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, the program will provide grants of up to $500 per staff member impacted by the transition to a new assignment. The funds will help offset out-of-pocket costs for supplies, materials, and other resources.

The initiative was developed as schools and staff prepare for transitions related to school closures and reassignment changes, which can create unexpected personal expenses for educators.

Applications for Staff Resource Grants open August 15, 2026, and will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout the school year, with awards distributed monthly. Applications and additional program information will be available at cpsfoundation.org/grant/staff-resource-grants/.

“At the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation, we know that educators are at the heart of student success,” said Angela Hibbard, Executive Director of CPSF. “We are deeply grateful to Benton County Schools Credit Union for their partnership and shared commitment to supporting educators and investing in our schools. We could not ask for a better partner in this work.”

“As a small, local credit union, supporting educators and schools is part of who we are,” said Amanda Held, President and CEO of BCSCU. “We’re proud to partner with CPSF and invest in the people shaping our community’s future.”
