Securityplus employees recognized at MDDCCUA Baltimore Chapter Annual Meeting and Employee Appreciation Night

BALTIMORE, MD (May 18, 2026) |

Securityplus Federal Credit Union proudly celebrates the recognition of two outstanding team members, Tiffany Fowler and Charlita Stevenson, at the Maryland & District of Columbia Credit Union Association (MDDCCUA) Baltimore Chapter Annual Meeting and Employee Appreciation Night held on May 12, 2026, at Matthews 1600 in Catonsville, Maryland.

The event honors credit union professionals who demonstrate exceptional service, leadership, and dedication to members and their organizations. Tiffany Fowler, Member Experience Analyst, and Charlita Stevenson, Assistant Manager of Member Support, were recognized for consistently going above and beyond in support of both members and colleagues.

Their nominations reflected the meaningful impact they make across Securityplus through their professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to delivering exceptional member experiences.

Peers shared that Charlita “shows up every day with a willingness to help, a commitment to excellence, and the agility to meet whatever is needed,” adding that she “makes those around her better and leaves a meaningful impact across the organization.”

Tiffany was recognized for leading “with spirit, collaboration, and excellence,” while consistently supporting others and creating positive experiences for both members and team members throughout the organization.

“Recognizing individuals who go above and beyond in service to our members is incredibly important because it reinforces the behaviors that define who we are as an organization,” said Mike Barr, Chief Executive Officer of Securityplus Federal Credit Union. “Exceptional service is often found in the small moments of solving a problem, providing reassurance, or making banking easier during a critical time in someone’s life. When we celebrate employees who consistently deliver that level of care, we strengthen a culture that values people, inspires excellence, and reminds our members that they are at the center of everything we do.”

Several Securityplus leaders attended the event in support of the honorees, including:

  • Barbara Cuffie, Board Chair
  • Al Gregory, Chief Lending Officer
  • Jeff Gehris, Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy & Experience Officer

Their presence reflected Securityplus’ ongoing commitment to recognizing and celebrating employees who embody the organization’s CARES values of Collaboration, Agility, Respect, Excellence, and Spirit.

Securityplus Federal Credit Union remains dedicated to fostering a culture where employees are empowered to make a meaningful difference in the lives of members and the communities they serve.
