Gulf Winds Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Walt Stepnowski to Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer. In this expanded role, Stepnowski will continue to lead Gulf Wind’s enterprise strategy, innovation, and technology efforts while assuming responsibility for accounting and finance as well as marketing. This alignment will drive greater collaboration and advancement across the organization, accelerating execution, and ensuring member-focused growth.

His ability to align strategy, people, and operations has helped strengthen the credit union and support its long-term goals. As Executive Vice President, Stepnowski will further support Gulf Winds’ commitment to serving members for years to come.

Stepnowski’s career began in the U.S. Air Force. Afterward, he gained leadership experience in technology roles at Verizon, EMCT, BB&T, Allergan, and Coastal Credit Union. He earned a BS in Information Technology and an MS in Information Security. He is also a proud father of three.``
