Kitsap Credit Union has selected Eleni Willis to serve as its new Vice President, Risk Management. In this role, Willis will be responsible for implementing and administering the credit union’s compliance program and establishing effective enterprise-wide risk management processes. She will oversee regulatory compliance, fraud and loss prevention, dispute processing, vendor management, and business continuity initiatives while advising leadership on emerging compliance issues and risk mitigation strategies.

Willis is an accomplished enterprise risk and compliance executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience across financial institutions and regulatory agencies. Throughout her career, she has specialized in enterprise risk management, regulatory strategy, operational resilience, and governance, helping organizations strengthen risk frameworks while supporting innovation and long-term growth.
Prior to joining Kitsap Credit Union as Vice President, Risk Management, Willis served in senior enterprise risk leadership roles within the banking industry, including Chief Risk Officer and Deputy Chief Risk Officer positions. She began her career with the
Washington State Department of Financial Institutions, where she served as a Bank Examiner overseeing safety and soundness examinations of financial institutions throughout the Pacific Northwest. Her diverse background provides a unique perspective that bridges regulatory insight with practical business leadership.
Willis holds an MBA from Washington State University and a bachelor’s degree in finance and mathematics from Linfield University. She also holds multiple industry certifications, including Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP).
