Capital Credit Union honored as Northeast Wisconsin Top Workplace

Laurie Butz, Capital Credit Union President and CEO, Receives Leadership Award

Capital Credit Union was among the 27 businesses recognized as a 2026 Top Workplace in Northeast Wisconsin by USA Today. Recipients were selected based on employee survey responses.

Laurie Butz, Capital Credit Union President and CEO, was one of three recipients to receive a Leadership Award. Winners were chosen based on employees’ responses to leadership-specific survey questions.

“This recognition reflects the mission of Capital Credit Union to ‘do the right thing’ and our team’s commitment to create a culture of caring where people feel valued, supported and inspired to grow,” said Butz.

Representatives from Capital Credit Union, including Butz, attended the awards ceremony in Green Bay on Wednesday, July 15.

USA Today and Energage invited 1,240 organizations with more than 35 employees located in an 18-county area to participate in Northeast Wisconsin Top Workplaces. Employees were surveyed based on 26 workplace factors including benefits, direction, leadership and appreciation. The Top Workplace designation was awarded to organizations with results that exceeded national benchmarks.
