Reliant Credit Union donates $2,500 to Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity

SODUS, NY (July 23, 2026) |

Reliant Credit Union recently donated $2,500 to Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity, a contribution that will support the construction of homes that empower local families to achieve lasting stability and independence.

Members of the Reliant Credit Union team presented the donation check to Kim Brumber, CEO of Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity, on Friday, July 17, at a job site where members of the Reliant team were also volunteering for the day to help build a home. Volunteering alongside Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity gives Reliant’s staff the opportunity to make a direct, personal impact and further reflects the credit union’s dedication to helping communities thrive.

“At Reliant Credit Union, we believe strong communities are built on a foundation of safe, affordable housing,” said Pamela Heald, Reliant’s President & CEO. “We’re proud to support Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity and to stand alongside their team—both through this donation and through hands-on volunteering—to help local families achieve stability, independence, and a place they can call home.”

“We are incredibly grateful to Reliant Credit Union for their gift of $2,500 and for providing staff volunteers to participate in local builds,” said Kim Brumber, CEO of Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity. “Volunteers are the heart and muscle of Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity, performing the manual labor required to build affordable homes. Alongside staff and others, our volunteer groups help transform construction projects into expressions of community and hope, building a brighter future for our homebuyers.”
