SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 18, 2013) -- Security Service Federal Credit Union supported the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County with a helpful group of handy volunteers at Boysville for a Day of Caring. Throughout the year, United Way Days of Caring are fun and meaningful projects that provide unique opportunities for agencies to showcase their important work and get some much-needed care for their campuses, classrooms and clients.
On Thursday, Security Service Federal Credit Union employees pitched in to help Boysville prepare for its 70th Anniversary celebration next Saturday. Volunteers painted inside a few cottages, spruced up the grounds, and used their artistic talents on the game preparations for the celebration. The Boysville campus is designed to help children in crisis who cannot remain in their own home for a variety of reasons.
