Collins Community Credit Union expands field of membership

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (February 4, 2015) -- Collins Community Credit Union announced on February 2 that the Superintendent of Credit Unions, JoAnn Johnson, has approved their request to expand their field of membership.

In addition to their existing field of membership in the Des Moines area, Collins Community Credit Union can now serve the counties contiguous to Polk and Jasper, which include Marshall, Story, Boone, Dallas, Madison, Warren and Marion counties in the Des Moines area. Expanding their field of membership will allow the Credit Union to provide financial services to more members and bring their “people helping people” philosophy to more communities.

“Growing and expanding is a good position to be in. We are excited to have the support of the Iowa Credit Union Division and can’t wait to take advantage of these new opportunities to serve our membership,” said Rick Benhart, President/CEO.
