Indiana State University Federal Credit Union was a proud sponsor of the Indiana State University Athletic Hall of Fame dinner on Thursday, January 18, 2018. Just over 200 were in attendance for the event.
This was the 26th induction class for athletics at Indiana State University (ISU). The inductees included John Allman, Jim Cruse, Kylie Hutson, and the late John McNichols. The credit union was especially honored to be a part of the event in support of John McNichols family including his brother, Hoosier Hills Credit Union President/CEO George McNichols.
John Allman was a standout student-athlete on the ISU football team from 1977-1980. Jim Cruse was a local from Terre Haute who continued his stellar basketball career at ISU from 1993-1997. Kylie Hutson soared through her years as a student-athlete pole vaulter for the ISU Track & Field team from 2007-2011. John McNichols was the beloved head coach and program coordinator for the ISU Cross Country/Track & Field teams from 1983 up until his untimely passing in 2016.
This is the second year the credit union has sponsored the event.
