Greater Nevada Credit Union (GNCU) recently celebrated the grand reopening of its newly-constructed Eagle Station branch with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a $1,000 donation to the Holiday with a Hero program, sponsored by the Carson City School District, Sheriff's Office, and Fire Department.
"With expanded products, services and locations, a nationally-recognized commercial lending company, a mortgage company serving California and Nevada, and 270 of the most amazing employees anywhere, and I couldn't be more proud of this new branch and our entire team at Greater Nevada,” said GNCU President and CEO Wally Murray.
U.S. Congressman Mark Amodei was also in attendance and said, "There are certain things that anchor residents of a community such as Carson City. This financial institution is one of them. I want to thank you for what you've done in my home town."
The new full-service branch, which replaces a 23-year-old branch that was part of the credit union’s administrative building, features advanced banking technology such as Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) and a progressive in-branch experience.
