CASE Credit Union receives three awards from Michigan Credit Union League

CASE Credit Union is proud to announce the receipt of three 2018 Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL) awards. Board Chairperson, William Brewer has been awarded the Credit Union Community Volunteer award; Olivia McCormick, was named the Youth Advocate of the Year; and the credit union was recognized with an Innovation Award.

The Credit Union Community Volunteer Award recognizes an employee or member that possesses a history of exemplary volunteer service outside of the credit union system.

The Youth Advocate of the Year Award recipient is an individual who has been exceptionally active in promoting the importance of financial literacy to young people over the past year. This person makes every effort to improve the quality of life of others through teaching and mentoring.

The Innovation and Reinvention Award recognizes credit unions for innovative thinking, action and community involvement. Broken into three asset categories, these awards acknowledges the creative ways credit unions think outside the box.

The MCUL Awards recognize credit unions, credit union professionals and credit union volunteers for exemplary efforts in areas including individual and organizational leadership, operational effectiveness, community service and financial education. The award winners will be formally honored at MCUL’s 2018 Annual Convention & Exposition in Traverse City, Mich., in June.
