CU Service Network is excited to announce that Reliant FCU of Casper, WY, is now part of the CO‐OP Shared Branching Network. Their two branches in Casper, WY and one in Douglas, WY are now open for guest members to conduct transactions, and their own membership can enjoy access to over 5,600 branches on the network.
Angel Phillips, Reliant FCU’s Member Service Manager commented, “Shared branching has allowed our members who are not living in close proximity of one of our branches access to their credit union.” Indeed, with an industry heavy on mining, oil, and transportation, Casper’s population is prone to travel outside of their local area.
Furthermore, when members move away or head to college, shared branching allows them an option to continue banking at Reliant FCU. Providing their members access to the shared branching network certainly adds a level of convenience for this region. “We have had positive feedback from our members regarding this new service," Phillips said.
Doug Burke, President/CEO of CU Service Network wrote, “We welcome Reliant FCU and their members to our shared branching network and 5,000+ locations. We are equally excited to add the credit union’s three Wyoming locations. It’s all about convenience, so the more, the better!” The Shared Branching Network now spans over 5,600 locations in all 50 states. While the vast majority of Americans have access to a shared branch within a few miles, adding branches to previously empty cities, like Douglas, WY, is a great feeling.
