Truliant Federal Credit Union has named Darrell Rogers to the role of regional director of the credit union’s Southern Region of Member Financial Centers.
As regional director, Rogers will be responsible for providing supervision and leadership to Truliant’s 17 Member Financial Center (MFC) locations in the Southern Region. He reports to Chris Murray, vice president member experience, Member Financial Centers.
“Darrell’s branch leadership and employee development experience brings a valued perspective to our MFC Leadership Team,” Murray said. “He shares our values, member focus, and drive for innovation and will be an essential asset as we continue to grow in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg region and build stronger relationships with new and potential members.”
Most recently, Rogers served in several leadership roles for CommunityOne Bank. Beginning in the role of retail sales coach, he developed and supported branch employees across many locations in the Carolinas.
Promoted to the role of Market Manager, Rogers oversaw a group of 14 branches. When CommunityOne merged with Capital Bank in 2016, he was selected to lead a total of 36 branches in his new role as Consumer Market Executive.
Rogers began his financial services career in 2003 with Bank of America in Hickory, N.C. He was named a mortgage loan officer, and later, branch manager in Mountain View, N.C.
“Darrell’s career has proven his ability to lead others across multiple markets and with different organizations to success,” Murray said.
Rogers has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree from Appalachian State University. He currently resides in Charlotte, N.C. with his husband, Jason.
