First Abilene Federal Credit Union partners with Conversation.one to build a cross-channel conversational experience, starting with Alexa and Google Home

First Abilene Federal Credit Union has launched its Amazon Alexa Skill and Google Home Action to provide its members with advanced voice experience to check their account balances, review recent transactions, locate branches and ATMs, connect to their contact center, or get the most up-to-date loan rates by simply talking to Alexa and Google.

First Abilene FCU leveraged Conversation.one, a build-once-deploy-anywhere platform for conversational applications, to build and deploy its voice and chat strategy. The platform’s 3-step wizard enables banks and credit union from all sizes to build, maintain and grow their Alexa Skills, Google Home actions, as well as chat and, texting and phone-bots in one single flow.

Troy Kyle, First Abilene FCU Chief Executive Officer, began his role with the credit union in February of 2016. Kyle has over 18 years of senior executive experience in the credit union industry, with 13 of that in a senior management capacity. He has worked as the key strategist in net worth management recovery as well as implementing technologies that simplified member services. “We wanted to offer an additional and convenient way for members to interact with our credit union. It is so easy to ask these devices to check your balance or transfer money from savings to checking. Also, the level of security and ease of deployment we found by partnering with Conversation.one made it painless. Our son loves checking his All-Star Kid’s Club balance now to see when his allowance has posted” Kyle says.

“First Abilene FCU is one of the first credit unions to identify the potential of automated voice and chat interactions with their members”, says Chen Levkovich, CEO of Conversation.one. “Looking to improve their member satisfaction, First Abilene can now provide their members with a wider range of services, from multiple digital touch-points. We are extremely excited to work with such an innovative team and we are looking forward to their expansion into additional channels”.
