TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union employees recently raised $625 for the Kenosha Achievement Center through their monthly Charity Casual Day. The TruStone Financial Foundation matched these funds dollar-for-dollar for a total donation of $1,250.
TruStone Financial employees and the TruStone Financial Foundation team up monthly for a company-wide Charity Casual Day. On designated Fridays employees can wear jeans in exchange for a charitable contribution to that month’s cause. In 2017 alone TruStone Financial employees and the TruStone Financial Foundation raised nearly $25,000 for local organizations.
The Kenosha Achievement Center is an impactful Wisconsin organization that creates opportunities for personal growth and the success of people with special needs. The organization achieves these goals by removing barriers, changing perceptions and building confidence in those they serve. Both adults and children are supported through the Kenosha Achievement Center, leading to a wide-array of programming and services.
Linda Finch, Assistant Vice President and Oak Creek branch manager, has been a volunteer for the organization over the years. “TruStone Financial’s core philosophy centers on people helping people. It has been incredible to see my credit union peers rally together to make an impact on an organization so close to mine and many others’ hearts. Their shared generosity will make a large-scale effect in our Kenosha community.”
TruStone Financial employees and the TruStone Financial Foundation will continue to host Charity Casual Days throughout 2018 to support causes that resonate with credit union staff and their communities.
