Digital Growth Institute’s James Robert Lay to speak at CU Water Cooler on ‘How to Avoid the 5 Most deadly Digital Marketing Mistakes’

Digital Growth Institute’s Founder and CEO James Robert Lay is speaking today at the  CU Water Cooler “How To” Conference June 12-13, 2018, in Madison, WI. Lay’s topic is be “How to Avoid the 5 Most Deadly Digital Marketing Mistakes.”

Some of the key points Lay is presenting to the CU Water Cooler audience include:

·       You’re not alone if you feel overwhelmed with so many moving pieces in the digital marketing space

·       Doing a ton of digital stuff already but not getting the results CEO and CFO hoped for

·       Exposing the five most deadly digital marketing mistakes

·       Simplify digital marketing with practical tips to reverse those five mistakes and capture millions in new loans and deposits

Lay’s talk is geared for credit unions that may have recently built a new website or planning to build one soon. Maybe they’re blasting out more emails and/or placing more digital ads, gearing up for increased content marketing and social media efforts, producing online videos, etc.

“We’re seeing many credit unions feeling overwhelmed right now because there are so many different moving pieces to make digital marketing work,” says Lay. “Many might even feel frustrated because their credit union is doing all this digital marketing stuff but not getting the results hoped for.”

He adds that if this sounds like your predicament, there's a strong possibility your credit union is committing one or more of the top five deadly digital marketing mistakes that will kill your future growth potential.

“A lot of credit unions are planning, launching, and even completing their digital marketing journeys,” explains Lay. “That’s great news for our industry, but so much of going digital is confusing and overwhelming today because of all the tools, tactics, and strategies out there. We’ve already done the legwork navigating it all for credit unions, helping hundreds avoid the pitfalls that are so easy to fall into if you’re not familiar with it. I look forward to this opportunity help even more credit unions looking to venture down the digital road at the CU Water Cooler ‘How To’ Conference next month.”
