Summit Credit Union opened a 1,500-square-foot, full-service branch at 15600 W. National Ave., just off Moorland Road in New Berlin on June 18. It replaces a Starbucks and is adjacent to T-Mobile, Qdoba and Noodles & Company.
The branch, which includes a walk‐up ATM, employs four people including a mortgage loan officer and a Financial Advisor. Lobby hours are 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday through Thursdays, 9 a.m.–6 p.m., Fridays, and 9 a.m.–12 p.m. on Saturdays.
CEO & President of Summit Credit Union Kim Sponem said the New Berlin branch makes Summit more convenient for existing and new members. “We’re excited to join the New Berlin community. As a credit union open to everyone, we’re looking forward to helping more people benefit from the savings we bring through better rates, lower fees, and a whole host of financial education and wellness tools.”
The New Berlin location brings the total to 35 branches in Wisconsin including eight in the greater Milwaukee area. Summit is Wisconsin’s second largest credit union.
