The National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) has named nine winners in its 2018 Annual Awards Competition, which honors member credit unions and credit union professionals and volunteers for excellence and achievement in the industry. Award winners were recognized during NAFCU's 51st Annual Conference and Solutions Expo in Seattle.
"This year's winners exhibit true dedication and commitment to the credit union industry, and NAFCU is proud to honor them and recognize their accomplishments," said NAFCU Awards Committee Chairman and President and CEO Chartway Federal Credit Union Brian Schools. "In recognizing NAFCU's award winners, we should celebrate their leadership and drive to inspire others."
This year's Annual Awards Competition recognized the CEO of the Year, Professional of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and Credit Union of the Year in each of two asset-size categories: $250 million or less, and more than $250 million.

CEO of the Year
Jason Kostura, CACL Financial ($250 million or less)
Scott A. Wilson, SeaComm Federal Credit Union (more than $250 million)
Professional of the Year
Samantha Cuff, Chief Financial Officer, CACL Financial ($250 million or less)
Tricia Szurgot, First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union (more than $250 million)
Lea Ammerman, MSU Federal Credit Union (more than $250 million)
Volunteer of the Year
WASYL (Bill) Kornylo, Ukrainian Federal Credit Union ($250 million or less)
J. Marvin Hawk, Fort Knox Federal Credit Union (more than $250 million)
Credit Union of the Year
Keys Federal Credit Union ($250 million or less)
Redstone Federal Credit UNION (more than $250 million)
