United Federal Credit Union names Meredith Williams Market Vice President in Nevada

United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Meredith Williams to market vice president of Nevada. In her new role, she will be responsible for creating and maintaining a business plan for the Nevada market and translating corporate strategic objectives into efficient and effective sales, service and business development initiatives.

Williams comes to UFCU with more than 22 years of financial service industry experience in the Reno and Carson City, Nev. communities. Over the last seven years, she served as district manager at U.S. Bank in Reno, leading a large network of 12 branches.

“Meredith has a proven track record of operational excellence while exceeding service and sales goals,” said James Knight, senior vice president of national sales and service. “I am confident her wealth of knowledge and experience will support our efforts to bring the United Federal Credit Union experience to more people in the community.”

Williams is a Carson City native and attended college at Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno. She also currently sits on the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada.
