Royal Credit Union names new Executive Vice President-Chief Lending officer

Michael Dill has been named Executive Vice President-Chief Lending officer at Royal Credit Union (Royal). In this role Dill will be responsible for strategic oversight of Royal’s consumer, real estate and business loan portfolio and identifying future growth opportunities. As a member of Royal’s executive management team, Dill will participate in making key organizational decisions and planning the strategic direction of the credit union.

“We are looking forward to having Mike join our team,” said Brandon Riechers, Royal Credit Union President & CEO. “Mike is a results-oriented executive leader with extensive senior level experience in all aspects of lending and retail banking and has a personal set of values that align with Royal’s core ideology.”

Dill has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.  He comes to Royal Credit Union from TCF Bank of Plymouth, Minnesota, where he served as Senior Vice President, Director of Retail Lending for twelve years.  Prior to his time at TCF Bank, Michael held the role of Senior Vice President, District Market Manager at Bremer Bank of Plymouth, Minnesota, for six years.  He has also held senior positions at Firstar Bank of Minnesota and St. Anthony National Bank.

Community involvement is also important to me. I have built strong connections in the Metro area and I look forward to developing new relationships in Wisconsin.”

Dill joined Royal on June 27, 2018 and is based in Eau Claire at the credit union’s Corporate Headquarters.
