Vizo Financial Corporate Credit Union, their CUSO, MY CU Services, and four Pittsburgh-area credit unions teamed up in support of the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation’s Walk for Children’s event on June 23, 2018.
Walk for Children’s is an annual family walk event that benefits Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC - a Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital - by bringing together the community and raising money for patient care.
Vizo Financial employees and their families, as well as representatives from the following credit unions and CUSO, participated in the walk and/or helped to collectively donate $3,460 for the cause:

“This is the second year Vizo Financial has had the pleasure of participating in the Walk for Children’s,” said Erin Doan, administration and community relations director of Vizo Financial. “After last year’s event, we knew it was definitely something we wanted to lend our support to again, especially since CMN Hospitals is our movement’s top charity.”
Including the donation from the Vizo Financial and Pittsburgh credit union team, the 2018 Walk for Children’s event brought in over $864,000.
“We encouraged local credit unions to spread the word about Walk for Children’s and do their own grassroots fundraising,” said Doan. “We’re so grateful to the Pittsburgh credit unions for their assistance with this event and for demonstrating that credit unions are dedicated to the people in their communities.”
