Bay Federal Credit Union has announced the recent promotions of Allyson Stengl to Assistant Vice President of Consumer Lending, and Joey Coffman to Service Desk Manager.

Stengl has worked for Bay Federal for seven years in a number of integral positions, including as an underwriter, team lead, and consumer lending manager. In her AVP role, she will work to oversee and strengthen all consumer lending functions within the credit union. Stengl, who lives with her husband and two children in Aptos, is a graduate from Sonoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in business management; Leadership Santa Cruz County; and BayFedU, the credit union’s management training program.

“When I show up at work, I love knowing that I have a team who cares as much as I do about helping our members,” Stengl said. “One of my primary goals will be to expand and refresh our product lines to better serve the needs of our community.”

Coffman, who joined Bay Federal in 2014 as a member service representative, has swiftly worked his way up through the Technology Department. In his new role, he will supervise Service Desk staff and work to improve support by making available top-quality solutions. The Capitola resident has an associate’s degree in communication studies from Cabrillo College and continues to expand his technical expertise through online courses.
