United Federal Credit Union promotes Bill Beckman to branch manager at Buchanan branch

United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) is pleased to announce the promotion of Bill Beckman to branch manager at its Buchanan, Mich., branch located at 808 East Front St, Buchanan, MI 49107.

In his new role, he will be responsible for business development within the community, membership engagement and positive public relations. He will also be tasked with maintaining the performance of the branch.

Beckman has been with UFCU since 2013, previously serving as ecommerce sales and service outbound sales manager in St. Joseph, Mich., since 2016. Before then, he was assistant branch manager at UFCU’s Berrien Springs, Mich., location from 2013 to 2016. Prior to joining UFCU, he was a personal banker and small business specialist at JP Morgan Chase in Benton Harbor, Mich., from 2008 to 2013.

Beckman holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Indiana University of South Bend and an associate’s degree in business administration from Glen Oaks Community College.
