SAVE THE DATE: Our Financial Planning and Education Center (FPCE) announces an exciting Fall Seminar Series, including Homebuying 101 (September 14); How to Plan a Successful (Charity) Fundraiser (October 12); and 29 And a Day or Ready Today?, which will review retirement options for Police Officers, who can officially retire after “29 Years and a Day” (October 26). Established in 2002, FPEC supports one of our core objectives, which is to provide members with as much financial education and as many financial options as we can. According to CEO Scott Arney, “The Credit Union was born at the end of the Great Depression and just a few years before the United States entered World War II.  Being the police was certainly a lot different back then, as were financial needs. As policing has changed and financial needs have grown more complex, our Credit Union has continued to evolve in order to remain supportive and relevant to our members, as well as to keep pace with the growing number of choices and many advances in technology.

“While many things have changed, some have not: the fundamental basis and structure of the Credit Union is still the same. I believe that our Credit Union has stayed true to the intent of its founders and built a very strong and unique, full-service financial institution on the foundation they laid 80 years ago.”
