Over a dozen DuPage Credit Union Team Members took part in the American Cancer Society’s South DuPage Relay for Life on July 21st in Downers Grove; raising to date $11,675 in donations.
Nearly 200 people participated in this year’s South DuPage Relay for Life at McCollum Park and helped raise over $64,500.
Throughout the year, DuPage Credit Union raised funds through personal fundraising efforts, including: purchasing guitar grams to serenade fellow Team Members and the sales of luminaire, candy and pastries. DuPage Credit Union Members contributed by donating their Visa Credit Card Rewards Points and making monetary donations. Their combined efforts helped the Credit Union reach the Jade Fundraising Level – a distinction for raising over $10,000.
“The Credit Union Team had awe-inspiring fundraising efforts this year,” said Gail Mosher, Vice President of Lending. “I couldn’t be more pleased with the outpouring of support.” Mosher personally raised $1,170 to receive a Grand Club Award for her efforts.
Since 2012, the Credit Union has raised more than $44,000 for Relay for Life events in DuPage County. To learn more about how DuPage Credit Union gives back to the community, visit dupagecu.com/community.
