NewGround, a St. Louis-based experiential design firm, recently celebrated the groundbreaking for Chartway Federal Credit Union’s new branch in South Salt Lake City, Utah.
The new 5,125 SF branch will include a retail branch and additional administrative space for the Chartway FCU western management team.
Located in a prime retail location in the middle of a rapidly transforming area in southern Salt Lake City with numerous retail and residential projects under construction, Chartway FCU’s new branch is a relocation of a nearby regional office and retail branch.
Their new retail design will implement cash recyclers, smart ATMs, and drive-up ITMs. Complimenting the local architecture, the design will include stone and glass, and will utilize the branded Chartway FCU wave element at the front entry. NewGround will provide multiple services for the project including design, construction, retail merchandising, audio, and training.
NewGround employees who attended the groundbreaking ceremony included Joe DiAntonio, Ralph Nelson, and Sandra Ruiz.

Construction is expected to begin in Fall 2018, with an anticipated completion in Spring 2019.
