Vantage West Credit Union, southern Arizona’s largest credit union, announced today its 2018 board election results and its new 2018-2019 Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee leaders.
The credit union recently held its board election during the 63rd Annual Membership Meeting. Incumbent Directors Ana Archer and Dr. Paul Melendez were re-elected by acclamation for new 3-year terms, filling the seats that were up for regular election. A special election was held for a third board seat vacated earlier this year. The Membership elected Olivia Smith to complete the remaining
2 years of the seat’s 3-year term.
The board later held its election of officers on August 13 with the following results: Eugene Santarelli – Chairman; John Driskill – Vice Chairman; Augustine Gomez – Treasurer; Ana Archer – Secretary; Gregory Good – Director; Dr. Paul Melendez – Director; Olivia Smith – Director; and Randy Kohout – Associate Director.
The board also appointed the following Supervisory Committee members: Ann McGrath, Michiko Pinnington and Janet Flores.
In partnership with the executive team, Vantage West’s Board of Directors plays a critical role in setting the strategic direction of the credit union, and helps ensure Vantage West maintains its excellent financial standing. The Supervisory Committee is an independent entity responsible for evaluating the safety and soundness of Vantage West.
