The Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) President and CEO Anthony Hernandez introduced DCUC and its 2018 accomplishments at Poland’s National Association of Co-operative Savings and Credit Unions (NACSCU) sponsored by the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU).
The WOCCU provided an update on the evolution of the Polish credit union model and how they can assist the Polish credit unions in their advocacy needs to deliver a U.S. based message to their Parliamentarians, Chancery and regulators. WOCCU hopes to connect forward-positioned U.S. service men and women to the Polish credit union ATM network and credit union system for local, safe and convenient cash access.
Discussing vision, strategy, and execution of 2018 accomplishments, Hernandez provided Polish credit unions with insights of having an organizational strategy and how to grow stronger in the age of regulatory changes. In addition, Hernandez presented the DCUC motion graphic bringing to life the value of DCUC and Defense Credit Unions as they serve those who serve our country.
John Broda, President and CEO, Armed Forces Financial Network (AFFN) introduced the network and discussed payment systems and ATM technology. AFFN known for serving troops one transaction at a time provides the U.S. military community with ready access to their funds through ATM and point of sale terminals located at or near U.S. military bases worldwide.
