Redwood Credit Union (RCU) has promoted Wilson Tengnguyen to manager of its Mill Valley branch at 695 E. Blithedale Avenue. In his new role, Tengnguyen is responsible for overseeing member service, staff management, and daily branch operations, as well as local community and business development efforts.
Tengnguyen has been with RCU for seven years and has been promoted several times, holding various member service positions prior to becoming assistant branch manager in Mill Valley, and now Mill Valley branch manager. He previously served as assistant branch manager at Luther Burbank Savings, and personal banker at Provident Credit Union. Tengnguyen has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with concentrations in finance and financial management from Sonoma State University.
“Wilson is well connected to this community and will take good care of our Mill Valley members,” said Dave Upham, senior vice president of member experience. “He’s a 2018 Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center chamber ambassador and, as such, is well acquainted with local business matters. He’ll be a great asset to our credit union business members and the community at large.”
Redwood Credit Union has three Marin County branches including the Mill Valley location, 209 Third Street in San Rafael, and 1010 Grant Avenue in Novato.
