Day Air Credit Union is pleased to announce that they have received recognition for their partnership with New Student Programs at the University of Dayton. Re’Shanda Grace Bridges, Director of New Student Programs, presented a plaque to Day Air’s UD Branch Manager, Chelsea Strong, in honor of their partnership.
New Student Programs at the University of Dayton aids new students as they transition into their new college lifestyle. They have developed a series of programs to help the incoming students adjust to the college experience at the University of Dayton through academics, social, and spiritual life while on campus.
Day Air Credit Union has partnered with New Student Programs for the past three years by providing funds to help the university provide scholarships to students who would like to attend UD Camp Blue, but have financial constraints. UD Camp Blue is a high-energy leadership camp exclusively offered to University of Dayton’s first-year students, looking to get a jump start on their leadership potential. This year Day Air’s scholarships helped four UD students attend UD Camp Blue – giving them a chance to develop life and leadership skills while attending this outstanding program.
“Day Air Credit Union exists to enhance our member’s financial well-being. Our mission aligns with the University of Dayton’s New Student Program to guide students through their journey to college and on to a rewarding career,” said William Burke, President and CEO of Day Air. “We look forward to watching these students grow their leadership skills and to help them with their financial education as well.”
