On Tuesday, September 4, 2018, American Heritage Credit Union’s Vice President of Business Development, Dorian Smith, presented Jeanne Sorg, Montgomery County’s Recorder of Deeds, with a $2,500 donation to support the Veterans’ Photo ID Card Program.
The Veterans’ Photo ID Card Program has issued more than 7,000 discount cards to Veterans across Montgomery County and have engaged nearly 500 Businesses who offer discounts to local county veterans.
“American Heritage is continually finding new ways to help our local Veterans living in our branch footprints,” states Dorian Smith. “Providing resources like the ID cards will help these Veterans save money on things that they purchase every day. It is just a small way we can say ‘Thank you’ for serving our country.”
