NWFCU Foundation, the charitable arm of Northwest Federal Credit Union, recently held its annual backpack drive, which collected over 2,000 school supplies for local children. The drive ran from June-August and collected backpacks and school supplies for students attending Title I and Alternative Education Institutions within Fairfax and Loudoun counties, in addition to the Herndon Neighborhood Resource Center.
“On behalf of the entire team at the NWFCU Foundation, we thank all of our supporters for their generous donation to support local at-promise youth, which include Northwest Federal employees and members, organizational partners, and the community at-large,” said Executive Director of the NWFCU Foundation, Alexzandra Shade.
