Royal announces new Vice President of Marketing and Business Development

Royal Credit Union (Royal) has named Melissa Wilson Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. She is responsible for overseeing branding and driving market strategy for Royal. Wilson will develop and lead the marketing and business development teams to create and implement programs, products, campaigns and initiatives to drive increased engagement with new and existing Members.

Wilson brings over 10 years of experience in marketing and management roles. Most recently she served as marketing and communications manager at Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC). Prior to that role she was a marketing specialist at CVTC. She has provided marketing and branding management freelance services for many organizations over the past several years and is also the owner and creator of Melnaturel, a natural handmade skincare line based out of Eau Claire.

Wilson received a bachelor’s degree in management from University of Wisconsin – Stout and a master’s of science in marketing and communications management from Franklin University. She also has an associate’s of applied science in marketing and an associate’s of applied science in supervisory management/organizational leadership from Chippewa Valley Technical College. Wilson is a native of Eau Claire and has been a Royal Member since 1997. She is a Big Brothers Big Sisters Northwestern Regional Board Member, a Founding Member of 100 Women Who Care, Eau Claire, and active in the Young Professionals of the Chippewa Valley.
