Great Lakes Credit Union donates to help abused women and children of McHenry County

In support of Great Lakes Credit Union’s (GLCU) initiative to support its communities, onOctober 2, 2018, GLCU Board Member, Lee Piekarz, contributed $3,000 to Turning Point of Lake County.

GLCU is proud to support the communities in which its members live. For the third year in a row, GLCU’s Board of Directors adopted an extraordinary plan to give back to its neighbors; Branch Managers of each GLCU location work closely with Board Members to support local charities.

Turning Point is a domestic abuse center to help abused women and children of the McHenry county area.  Its many services consist of 24-hour Crisis Intervention and Response, Emergency Shelter, Individual and Group Counseling for Adults, Trauma-Based Mental Health Services and so much more.  To learn more, go to www.mchenrycountyturningpoint.org
