Northwest Federal Credit Union recently donated $2,500 in food and grocery store gift cards to Cornerstones to support their Thanksgiving Basket Food Drive. The donation will feed fifty local families. Northwest Federal employees helped collect food during the drive as part of their ongoing partnership with Cornerstones.
“We are honored to continue our support for Cornerstones and those with food insecurity in our local community by participating in the Thanksgiving food drive,” said President and CEO of Northwest Federal, Jeff Bentley. “By providing families with ingredients for side dishes and dessert and empowering them to use gift cards to choose their main dish, Cornerstones strikes the right balance in making Thanksgiving dinner a reality for families in need.”
Jeff Bentley, Northwest Federal President & CEO and members of the credit union staff presented the donation to Cornerstones CEO Kerrie Wilson and members of the Cornerstones staff on Friday November 16th.
