Robins Financial Credit Union will be giving back to the community during the holidays with their 25 Days of Holiday Giving. They selected 25 different organizations throughout their county radius to provide a monetary donation to help the organizations with their holiday festivities. The following organizations received a donation during the first week:
- Care Cottage in Forsyth received a $500 donation. This organization assists women and children living in a domestic violence situation.
- Sunshine House in Swainsboro received a $500 donation. This organization is devoted to the needs of children and families affected by abuse.
- Middle Georgia Community Food Bank in Macon received a $500 donation. This organization is a vital link in the distribution of food to food pantries and reach the maximum number of hungry neighbors in need.
- WINGS Domestic Violence Shelter in Dublin received a $500 donation. This organization empowers families to make their own decisions about safe and stable environments for themselves and their children.
- Empty Stocking Fund in Athens received a $500 donation. This organization provides toys to children during the holidays.
- Abilities Discovered in Warner Robins received a $500 donation. This organization strives to enhance the lives of people with disabilities.
- Meals on Wheels of Baldwin County in Milledgeville received a $500 donation. This organization provides food assistance.
- Gray Jaycees in Gray received a $500 donation. This organization has a Christmas Assistance Program to help the community.
