Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lataghia “Taj” Harper as Human Resources Administrator. Harper most recently held the position of HR Specialist at LLCU.
Harper has been with LLCU for over 4 years in various other capacities including Teller, Member Service Representative, and Loan Officer. In her new role, she will oversee the Human Resource Operations of the LLCU staff. Prior to her tenure at LLCU, she was employed at FirstTech in Decatur.
“Taj has been dedicated to developing our Human Resources at LLCU for months already, so it was the perfect transition, both for Taj, and for LLCU, to advance her into this position,” stated Robert Ares, LLCU CEO. “She possesses the energy, compassion and professionalism that are necessary for someone in an HR role. Taj will play a vital role in keeping the pulse of the LLCU workforce strong and healthy.”
Harper is actively engaged in the community, a recent graduate of the Decatur Leadership Institute, Chair of the LLCU Decatur Charity Committee, and a Mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Her office will be in the LLCU branch located at 3130 E. Mound Road in Decatur, IL.
