Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union, and divisions, American Eagle Credit Union and Purina Credit Union, has been named Best Credit Union in Missouri in Forbes Magazine’s second annual America's Best Credit Unions In Each State 2019 List. Of the more than 5,000 credit unions nationwide, 182 were awarded best-in-state designation.

To generate the 2019 list, Forbes hired Statista, a leading market research firm, to survey more than 25,500 people in the U.S. about their current and former banking relationships. Banks and credit unions were rated on overall recommendations and satisfaction, as well as five sub-dimensions (trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services and financial advice). Overall scores for banks and credit unions ranged from 57.2 to 96.2. Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union and divisions scored 90.6 overall, ranking the Credit Union first in Missouri.
“Members-only credit unions typically have lower fees and offer better interest rates than traditional banks, and the nonprofit model where the members are the owners puts the customer first, resulting in higher levels of satisfaction,” wrote Kurt Badenhausen, Forbes staff, in the Best Banks And Credit Unions In Every State 2019 announcement.
Anheuser-Busch Employees’ Credit Union and divisions scored highest in overall satisfaction at 95.6%, compared to the national average for credit unions at 90% and banks at 84%.
